"With a new generation at the helm of the winery, this is very much a project identified with the young Tancredi Biondi Santi. This 2022 JeT Rosé is a Sangiovese-based rosato made with the special clones farmed at this Maremma estate. The vines are at a cool 520 meters in elevation and measure 12 hectares. However, there are a couple of rows of Cabernet Sauvignon at this site that are not used in this wine. This luminous expression shows cassis, wild berry and grapefruit. There are some dusty mineral notes and a hint of sweetness on the easy close. The first vintage produced was 2019."

The 2022 Pinot Noir Avni offers a fantastic nose out of the gate, with ripe cherries. A joyful wine, it’s floral and pretty, retaining lovely freshness, with a chalky texture and a clean finish. It’s everything I would want in a wine by the glass at a high-end restaurant or on a bottle list. Drink over the next 5-6 years."
