2021 Chateau Durfort Vivens Le Plateau Blend from France
#152653 750 mL
2021 Chateau Durfort Vivens Le Plateau
94 Wine Enthusiast
"A plateau in the north of Margaux gives a highly aromatic wine, its black fruits and acidity with weight and intense ripeness. The wine will be ready from 2027. Organic and biodynamic. -RV"
94 La Revue Du Vin De France
"Le Plateau, the northern part of the vineyard, is much softer and creamier, with beautiful suavity."
93 Antonio Galloni - Vinous
"The 2021 Le Plateau de Durfort-Vivens is almost all Cabernet Sauvignon, as the Merlot was decimated by frost. Powerful and explosive in the glass, the 2021 offers up an exotic mélange of dark-toned fruit, gravel, incense, tobacco, licorice and crushed rocks. Give this time to soften."

2022 Verdad Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon
93 Wine Enthusiast
This three-vineyard blend is a solid choice for the cellar. Aromas of crushed stone and raspberry lead from the nose into a lighter-bodied palate. A gravelly, chalky texture frames flavors of raspberry, cranberry and just enough baking spice. Drink now–2039.

2023 I Clivi Brazan Bianco Blend from Italy
#152672 750 mL
2023 I Clivi Brazan Bianco
93 Monica Larner - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The I Clivi 2023 Bianco Brazan by Mario Zanusso is a blend of 50% Ribolla Gialla, 40% Friulano and 10% Malvasia Istriana that shows a smooth and silky personality. The wine reveals stone fruit aromas of peach and quince, leading to a fresh, easygoing style that is not especially rich but offers good balance and drinkability. It delivers a natural freshness that makes it especially well-suited to dishes like chicken salad or a classic Caesar.
93 Eric Guido - Vinous Media
The 2023 Bianco Brazan is intense, with a savory burst of wild herbs, flint stones and lime zest forming its beguiling bouquet. It soothes the palate with round textures and pure style, as nectarine and pear mix with a salty mineral concentration toward the close. Long and spicy, it leaves a saline resonance and a hint of sour citrus that pinches at the cheeks. The 2023 is exciting to taste today and has a very bright future.

2018 Remelluri Rioja Reserva Blend from Spain
#152687 750 mL
2018 Remelluri Rioja Reserva
95 Luis Gutierrez - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2018 Reserva comes from a late growing season and was produced with local varieties like Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and others from their 86 hectares of vineyards at 590 to 805 meters in altitude on limestone, sandstone and marl soils, now certified organic. The grapes were picked late with good ripeness and health and fermented with natural yeasts in stainless steel and open-top oak vats, then the wine matured in oak containers of different sizes for 22 to 24 months. This is a very good classical wine, serious and balanced, with very fine tannins, a balanced mouthfeel and enough power and concentration to be able to show elegance and nuance. It's very tasty, almost salty. 301,779 bottle produced. It was bottled in May 2021.

2019 Big Basin Coastview Vineyard Syrah Terraces Syrah from United States
#152693 750 mL
2019 Big Basin Coastview Vineyard Syrah Terraces
95 Antonio Galloni - Vinous
The 2019 Syrah Coastview Vineyard - Terraces is fabulous. Racy and sleek, the 2019 is endowed with serious depth. Dark fruit, leather, incense, tobacco, mocha, lavender and dried herbs are all amplified in this big, bold Syrah from Big Basin. There's so much to like.
94 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
Ripe black fruits, pepper, leather, and spring flower notes all emerge from the 2019 Syrah Coastview Vineyard Terraces, a hidden gem of a Syrah that has more than a passing resemblance to a great CĂ´te RĂ´tie. Medium to full-bodied, balanced, with a great mid-palate and ripe tannins, it's one of the standouts in this lineup. It will unquestionably evolve for 10-15 years.

2022 Burn Cottage Pinot Noir Burn Cottage Vineyard Central Otago Pinot Noir from New Zealand
#152735 750 mL
2022 Burn Cottage Pinot Noir Burn Cottage Vineyard Central Otago
95 Erin Larkin - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2022 Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot Noir is light and fine, with a delicate array of cherry, strawberry, red apple and freshly pressed linen notes. Woven throughout is sweet tobacco, graphite, white tea and finely ground pink peppercorns. In the mouth, the acidity works with the tannins to penetrate the palate with flavour, and it has an ethereal quality to it, which marks it as distinctly different from the Sauvage Pinot Noir. This is an eminently pretty Pinot Noir and comes highly recommended.
95 James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com
Perfumed and fragrant aromas of dark cherries, blackberry bushes, spices, wet bark and rose petals. The palate is medium-bodied with firmly integrated tannins and bright acidity, giving notes of red currants, wild raspberries, citrus peel and lead pencil. Refined and pure with an underlying power and tension”
95 Wine Spectator
A stunning red, offering an aromatic and expressive mix of blueberry, raspberry and maraschino cherry, along with notes of dried rose petal, sandalwood and toasted cumin seed, plus a touch of fresh mint. Plush and velvety, with details of black walnut liqueur, white pepper and palo santo that linger on the long, expressive finish. Drink now through 2039.

#152826 750 mL
2020 Domain Alain Voge Saint Peray Les Bulles D'alain Sparkling
91 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
Disgorged in June of 2025 with zero dosage and based on 100% Marsanne, the 2020 Saint-Péray Les Bulles D'Alain displays a medium gold hue with very fine bubbles. It offers a classy nose of ripe orchard fruits, brioche, green almonds, and croissant. It's medium-bodied and has a pure, layered, elegant mousse, terrific balance, and outstanding length. I like it today, yet it should keep nicely through 2035. Drink 2026-2035.
91 Peter Moser - Falstaff
Rich golden yellow in colour. An intense nose of ripe yellow apple, thyme, some lardo, and grown-up undertones. The fine mousse plays around the palate with tasty tart notes of quince and grapefruit, allied to a pleasant acid core. Good length on the finish, ending with white chocolate in the aftertaste. An exceptional Crémant made from 100 percent Marsanne.
91 Nicolas Greinacher - Vinous
The outgoing 2020 Saint-Péray Les Bulles d'Alain first projects forthright yellow apple, ripe pear, white peach and twists of brioche. Dried blossom adds a gentle floral lift. Medium-bodied and vivifying, the 2020 is an enticing Les Bulles d'Alain, settling the final impression with toasty finesse on the complex final beat. Disgorged June 2023. Zero dosage. Lot Nr. BR20-2506.
2021 Burn Cottage Pinot Noir Sauvage Vineyard Central Otago Pinot Noir from New Zealand
#152736 750 mL
2021 Burn Cottage Pinot Noir Sauvage Vineyard Central Otago
97 Erin Larkin - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2021 Sauvage Vineyard Pinot Noir is supremely pretty. It's elegant and fine and still powerful, thanks to the Bannockburn area; however, the wine itself shows rose petals and spring flowers, graphite and pencil lead, white pepper and tapenade. Svelte and sleek, this is composed and detailed and so, so good. I am (mostly) resisting hyperbole and adverbs here. This is a standout wine from a superstar producer—an asset for the region and indeed the country (and the New World in general). 13.5% alcohol, sealed under natural cork.
96 James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com
Juicy and lively strawberries, red plums and lavender followed by vanilla beans, salted caramel and a touch of squeezed orange wedge. Mineral. Medium-bodied wine with fine velvety tannins and acidity. Very precisely framed wine with great harmony. It’s beautiful already but will age gracefully. Drink or hold.
Well-structured, with a firm backbone to complement the dense core of flavors, including blackberry, wild blueberry and red fruit notes. Accents of Earl Grey tea and white pepper, plus hints of dried rose petal, forest floor and salted black licorice, linger on the long, expressive finish. Drink now through 2033. 750 cases made, 200 cases imported.

93 Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier - CamDouglasMS.com
Delicious, bright, fresh, youthful and ready. Aromas and flavours of fresh brown pears and yellow apple, there’s a layer of white spice and honeysuckle, lees and florals. Youthful on the palate, dry with a decent squeeze from acidity and leesy spice highlights, a contrasting tickle of residual sweetness balances the palate and flavours immediately lengthening the impacts of structure and fruit flavours. Nicely framed and tasty with honeysuckle and core pomaceous fruit flavours. Best from late 2025 through 2029.

2024 Weingut Carl Loewen Riesling Trocken Alte Reben
This is an unusual entry-level wine. The cool side of the peach notes makes itself very clearly felt, pulling you into a web of intense, slatey minerality. Very stony finish, although the acidity is moderate. Excellent aging potential. From vines up to 70 years old. Vegan. Drink or hold.
92 Wine Spectator
Aromas of lime preserves and dried apple rest on a foundation of sorghum and chrysanthemum in this solidly built Riesling. The palate is dense yet graceful as this elegantly coasts through the long finish, which deftly interlaces its savory and stone notes with bright fruit. Drink now through 2038. 60 cases imported.

2021 Domenico Clerico Ciabot Mentin Barolo
97+ Monica Larner - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Between the Pajana and the Ciabot Mentin, I have a preference for the latter. The Domenico Clerico 2021 Barolo Ginestra Ciabot Mentin comes from the higher part of the slope (with vines planted in 1978) and offers an extremely precise and finely stitched bouquet that incorporates elements of cassis, wild berry, herb, blue flower and crushed stone. The mineral signature is a little more pronounced in this wine, and it leans into iron ore and rusty nail. Like the Pajana, the tannins are quite firm, and the wine will need more time in bottle to integrate. This is a release of 5,500 bottles and 150 magnums.

96 Bob Campbell MW - Bob Campbell
This wine makes my heart beat faster. It is delicate yet powerful, ethereal but wonderfully harmonious. I love its beautifully nuanced array of flavours that are displayed like the colours on a peacock’s tail and linger long after the wine has been swallowed. I have a cast-iron rule that prevents me from swallowing wine samples during tastings. I managed to stick to my guns. It wasn’t easy.
95 Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier - CamDouglasMS.com
A delicious wine with purity of fruit, the signature of site and vintage are clear with a bouquet of freshness, power and varietal prowess. Dark cherry and savoury dried herbs, hat and sandy clay soil complexities, violet and wild forest flowers the spice. Dry, complex and textured with a gentle tautness with an abundance of polished tannins and backbone of acidity. Flavours of dried raspberry, dark berries, plum and dark cherry are released throughout the palate and as the wine opens out in glass delivers energy, purity and freshness. Delicious and lengthy with best drinking from late 2026 through 2035+.
Pure aromas of strawberries, orange peel, sandalwood and potpourri. It’s medium-bodied with firm yet fine tannins and a crisp and delicious finish. So attractive now, with just the right amount of tension at the end. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
92 Erin Larkin - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2024 Bannockburn Pinot Noir is dark fruited and plush, with nutmeg biscuit and cranberry, blood plum and mulberry. The wine is exotic and peppered with baking spices—one assumes this is via the oak rather than the fruit. 2024 was a superb vintage in Central Otago, and the wines that I have seen so far echo this. It seems this wine just needs a little more time—or a decant—in order to show its best. It's very impressive regardless. 13.8% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
