2021 Best's Great Western Shiraz Bin No. 1 Shiraz from Australia
#150607 750 mL
2021 Best's Great Western Shiraz Bin No. 1
94 James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com
This is good. A cooler climatic expression that remains distinctly Australian, rather than playing the reductive hand of an ersatz Rhone. An exceptional nose of mace, clove, blue fruits, olive and briar, backed by a wave of beef bouillon and iodine-umami warmth. The tannins, a clatter across the middle, with a bow of dutiful acidity drawn to just the right degree of tension. Some scrubby menthol dries the finish ever so slightly. This said, this is a delicious wine of immense personality and soul. Drink or hold.

2010 Cerbaiona Brunello Di Montalcino Sangiovese from Italy
#85964 750 mL
2010 Cerbaiona Brunello Di Montalcino
100 Antonio Galloni - Vinous
"The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino is every bit as thrilling as it was on the many occasions I tasted it from barrel. Black cherry, hard candy, plum, rose petal, menthol and lavender saturate the palate in a sumptuous, racy Brunello endowed with magnificent depth and pedigree. An utterly stunning, sensual wine, the 2010 constantly changes in the glass as it conquers all the senses with an exotic kaleidoscope of aromas, flavors and textures. I remember tasting the 2010 from cask a few years ago when Diego Molinari was too unwell to go down to the cellar. Nora Molinari tasked me with essentially serving myself as we went from vintage to vintage and cask to cask. For days after, I was mortified that I might not have closed some of the spigots tightly enough. Fortunately, that was not the case. In all of my years tasting the wines of Montalcino, I have only come across two wines with this level of textural unctuosity and sweetness; Gianfranco Soldera's 1983 Brunello and 1990 Riserva. Cerbaiona's 2010 Brunello di Montalcino will leave readers weak at the knees. It is every bit that profound."
98 Monica Larner - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino is an absolutely distinctive wine and one unlike this producer has ever released. It feels radically different in terms of concentration, intensity and complexity. I was blown away by the beautiful and profound sense of inner harmony on display here. The wine puts on an epic showing of aromas that span from the simple ripe cherry and blackcurrant to the most ethereal tones of balsam herb, root beer and licorice. In between, are hearty aromas of cured tobacco and smoked meat. It really has it all along the entire Sangiovese spectrum. In the mouth, the wine offers similar complexity with thick extraction backed by sweet and sour layers of fruit and tannic structure. If you are looking for outstanding Brunello, look no further. This is one of the top three wines of the vintage. Drink Date: 2017 - 2035
97 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino is serious stuff and one powerhouse of a Brunello. Deep, rich, black fruits, roasted herbs, some smoke meat notes, licorice, and loads of spice take some coaxing at first, yet the wine quickly offers loads of fireworks with aeration. This full-bodied, massively concentrated Brunello has ripe tannins, a stacked mid-palate, and awesome length. Give it a decant if drinking any time soon.

2007 Dalva 2007 Colheita White Port
91 Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2007 White Port (Dalva) is basically a white Colheita and it pretty much leans to tawny in taste, too. Mostly a field blend, it emphasizes Malvasia Fina, Viosinho and Rabigato. It comes in at 117 grams per liter of residual sugar. Surprisingly rich for a young white, this is filled with caramel nuances. It is a beauty that is really easy to like and drink. Bright, fresh and utterly delicious, it delivers a great performance that easily overachieves at its young age.

2015 Dom Perignon Brut Champagne Blend from France
#143512 750 mL
2015 Dom Perignon Brut Champagne
97 James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com
A super-complex Champagne with chewy tension. Aromas of coffee beans, lemon peel, burnt sugar, chalky minerality, barley candy and tarte tatin. Fine pinprick bubbles with flavors of lemon leaves, aspirin and Mirabelle plums, plus a touch of grapefruit bitterness keeping the tension. Zesty yet integrated chewy acidity and a medium body with a toasted finish. Drink of hold.
96 Antonio Galloni - Vinous
The 2015 Dom Pérignon is terrific. Bright and poised, the 2015 shows terrific energy. Citrus peel, white flowers, mint, white pepper and slate all race across the palate. There's gorgeous tension and backbone here, with bright saline notes that extend the mid-palate and finish. This is a fine showing in a vintage that has proven to be tricky. I am intrigued to see how the 2015 develops in the coming years.
96 Wine Spectator
There's a well-spiced, zesty edge to the flavors of glazed apple, mandarin orange peel, pink grapefruit pith and crème de cassis as they ride the finely detailed mousse of this fresh, focused Champagne. This vivid display is enriched by notes of canelé pastry, chopped almond, pastry cream, smoke and vanilla, all coming to the forefront through the midpalate and chiming on the lasting finish. Drink now through 2035.
96 Peter Moser - Falstaff

96 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
The 2015 Dom Perignon pours a bright straw/yellow color and is expressive and layered on the nose with a tropical profile in its notes of cantaloupe, peach, fresh pastry, smokey wet stones, and orange blossoms. Medium to full-bodied, it offers a rounded and ripe but very well-detailed feel, with a soft, chalky texture. This was a very successful vintage for Dom Perignon, producing wines that retain a great deal of clarity and detail in this warm vintage. Drink over the coming 20 years.
96 J. D'Angelo - International Wine Report
The 2015 Dom Perignon is a beautiful showing marked by its finesse and vibrant character. It opens with a mesmerizing bouquet of lemon curd and green pear, intertwined with notes of orange zest, toasted brioche, crushed almonds, and hints of ginger and chalky minerality. The palate is impeccably balanced, showcasing a lively mousse and refreshing acidity that frames the rich flavors of citrus, orchard fruits, and subtle hazelnut. A touch of salinity adds depth, leading to a long, elegant finish with lingering notes of white flowers and flinty undertones. This vintage offers exceptional complexity now but also promises further refinement with some additional aging.

95 Monica Larner - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Showing great warm-vintage intensity and focus, the Tolaini 2020 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vigna Montebello Sette represents a deep dive into Sangiovese. This elegant expression of the grape (delivered in a production of 15,000 bottles) shows a bold fruit profile with spot-on ripeness and bold cherry. It follows through with a mildly creamy texture. More depth is provided thanks to delicate mineral shadings and lightly toasted spice. These are balanced and elegant results.

98 Raymond Chan - Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
Deep, inky ruby with a deep purple hue, lighter purple on the rim. The nose is full, packed with alluring aromas of blackberries, cassis and plums entwined with cloves, cardamom and violet, subtle leathery note developing, along with dark cocoa, black olives and whisky barrel, very complex. Full-bodied, a bright palate full of energy and multilayered, black fruit melded with black olives, cocoa and violet, unfolding a hint of leather and barrel spices of cloves, cardamom and star anise. Herbal element unveiled as the wine aerated, echoing spices, black olives, linger to a very long, fulsome finish. The wine has concentration and density, yet it's bright with clarity and layers, full of whimsical interest. The tannin is well structured and integrated, fine-grained with a velvety grip, provide great vitality supported by balanced acidity. This is a stunning blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 65%, Merlot 20% and Cabernet Franc 15%, with concentrated flavour of perfectly ripe fruit and balanced acidity, elegantly complex barrel details on a fine-structured palate. Match with t-bone steak & truffle sauce and roasted lamb over the next 15+ years. Fruit sourced from best parcels in Paritua Vineyard at 2112 Maraekakaho Road, Bridge Pa Triangle. Destemmed, cold-soaked, fermented to 14.5% alc, 20-28 days post ferment maceration. Aged in French oak barriques for 24 months, 50% new oak.
97 Sam Kim - Wine Orbit
Immensely complex and engaging, showing cassis, blackberry, smoked game, cedar, tobacco and violet aromas on the nose. It's concentrated and richly textured on the palate offering fabulous fruit power combined with savoury nuances, leading to an impressively long structured finish. A blend of 65% cabernet sauvignon, 20% merlot & 15% cabernet franc. At its best: now to 2038.
96 Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier - CamDouglasMS.com
Powerful core of blackberry and roasted plums, a touch of dark chocolate and smoky tobacco oak complexities. Youthful, intense and compelling bouquet. Full-bodied, rich in flavour and texture with barrel spices and fruit flavours that mirror the nose. Firm tannins are abundant and ripe. There's no mistaking the toasty oak and barrel spice layers, these attributes contribute to a complex and powerful wine that will age for some years to come. Decant for service and serve with food or cellar. Best drinking from 2024 through 2030+.

Fresh and nicely framed aromas of red currants, stone and sweet tobacco. Medium-bodied with open-grained tannins and a creamy finish. Crunchy fruit. A blend of 77% cabernet sauvignon, 12% merlot, 5% malbec, 4% cabernet franc and 2% petit verdot. Very drinkable now, but can improve with age.

2023 Te Mata Estate Cape Crest Sauvignon Blanc Blend from New Zealand
#150684 750 mL
2023 Te Mata Estate Cape Crest Sauvignon Blanc
95 Erin Larkin - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2023 Cape Crest Sauvignon Blanc comprises 97% Sauvignon Blanc, 2% Semillon and 1% Sauvignon Gris. Aromatically, the wine leads with pressed linen and Golden Delicious apples, white pepper, shaved fennel and a profusion of preserved citrus rind. Texturally, the wine has grip and shape, and while the acidity is brisk in the mouth, it is enveloped with ripe fruit and is tense. The four clones of Sauvignon Blanc (MS, 316, 317 and 905) bring genetic diversity and fruit profile, which elevates the wine into the echelon of the great. This is a 360-degree drinking experience here, driven by phenolic drive, acid and an abundance of fruit. Excellent. Barrel ferment and lees work emphasizes all of the above. The 905 clone plays a role in the texture of the wine here. This is one of the best Cape Crest releases—and from a challenging season too. The wine goes a long way toward proving the theory that great producers prevail no matter the season, and a large part of that is the extensive work conducted in the vineyard. The years of research and development into vine and soil health, cover crops and canopy management has come home to roost in this season. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
