17.5pts out of 20pts "Tinta Roriz and Tinta Amarela, from high altitudes and transitional schist/granite soils. Made with little maceration, it immediately attracts with its enormous purity of fruit, with notes of fresh berries, cherry, raspberry. Very smooth tannins, very light toast accompanying the fruit, a light, elegant, delicious red."

95 Luis Gutierrez - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The 2022 Pegaso Granito has a showy nose, with plenty of red raspberries, and it opens up even more in the glass. It has notes of ripe red berry fruit, flowers and aromatic herbs. It's juicy and velvety, with the frontal tannins from the granite soils. It shows the ripeness of the year with 15% alcohol but a lower pH and higher acidity (3.24 and 6.57, respectively) because of the blocking of the vines that didn't have time to burn the acidity and the cycle was shorter. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins. 5,800 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2024."

2020 Guigal Ermitage Ex Voto Red Syrah from France
#142086 750 mL
2020 Guigal Ermitage Ex Voto Red
97-100 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
While I think 2019 slightly surpasses 2020 in Côte Rôtie, it might be the inverse in 2020, and the 2020 Ermitage Ex Voto is certainly fuel on the fire. I wouldn't be surprised to see this merit a triple-digit rating, and it has incredible class in its cassis and black raspberry-like fruit as well as notes of saddle leather, savory flowers, smoked tobacco, and ground pepper. This deep, powerful, full-bodied Hermitage has awesome tannins, a silky, layered mouthfeel, and boatloads of tannins. It's going to need upwards of a decade of bottle age, but this is heavenly stuff.
95-97 Nicolas Greinacher - Vinous
Alluring spice-box, ripe black fruits, cured meat and a jolt of espresso introduce the 2020 Ermitage Ex-Voto. Minty undertones and peppery elements complement the complex aromatic profile. Utterly savory, the 2020 hits the palate with stunning energy and balance. Medium- to full-bodied, it could potentially outperform the head-turning 2019 once bottled
97 James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com
The interplay of toasty oak with stony minerality is every bit as important to this wine as the way the plush tannins balance the gigantic forest berry fruit. Builds to a huge climax at the very structured and driving finish. Aged for 42 months in oak. Drinkable now, but best from 2027.
97 Matt Walls - Decanter
Fresh and dense, displaying great substance and depth. Robust oak work here and it's very tannic; a powerful, driving wine of great size and grandeur. Long and complete, it will swallow its oak in time I suspect. At the start of its 40 months in new oak barriques. Old vines from Les Bessards, Les Greffieux, L'Ermite and Les Murets.

2023 Connetable De Talbot Saint Julien
89-91 William Kelley - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"A strong effort, the 2023 Connetable de Talbot reveals aromas of plums, berries, dark chocolate and pipe tobacco, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and mouth-filling palate. It will offer a broad and satisfying drinking window."
89 Georgina Hindle - Decanter
"Slightly high toned and a bit tight with prominent tannins although there’s nothing harsh here just some compaction right now. Pure blackcurrant and a dash of liquorice. Nice acidity and a long length with a stony finish. Not a bad effort."

98 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
The 2020 Pandora is also based on Grenache, yet it has a dramatically different style than the Grenache release, with more red and blue fruits, spring flowers, violets, and pepper-driven aromas and flavors. It's full-bodied and has a beautifully pure, layered mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and a gorgeous finish. Layered, incredibly complex, flawlessly balanced, and just so beautiful, it will evolve for 20+ years in cold cellars.

#152673 750 mL
2021 Domenico Clerico Ciabot Mentin Barolo
97+ Monica Larner - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Between the Pajana and the Ciabot Mentin, I have a preference for the latter. The Domenico Clerico 2021 Barolo Ginestra Ciabot Mentin comes from the higher part of the slope (with vines planted in 1978) and offers an extremely precise and finely stitched bouquet that incorporates elements of cassis, wild berry, herb, blue flower and crushed stone. The mineral signature is a little more pronounced in this wine, and it leans into iron ore and rusty nail. Like the Pajana, the tannins are quite firm, and the wine will need more time in bottle to integrate. This is a release of 5,500 bottles and 150 magnums.

2022 Spottswoode Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from United States
#150283 750 mL
2022 Spottswoode Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
98 Joe Czerwinski - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Recently released (September 2025), Spottswoode's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is perhaps slightly bigger than usual for this property but still retains a sense of freshness. Loaded with cassis and blackberries, it's full-bodied, plush and voluptuous, yet also long and mouthwatering on the finish. Wonderfully forward but balanced, the juicy fruit is successfully framed by silky, soft tannins. It's a vintage to enjoy while waiting for the 2021 and 2023 to mature.
