2024 Le Roi Rouge Cabernet Sauvignon Languedoc Cabernet Sauvignon from France
#152542 750 mL
2024 Le Roi Rouge Cabernet Sauvignon Languedoc
94 Wine Enthusiast
This would be a superb wine at three times the price, offering far more in flavor, texture and stability than most anything in its price class. Deep aromas of blackberry, peppercorn, woodspice and oregano lead from the nose into a rich palate that's lush but bone dry. FLavors of blue and red fruit are dusted in espresso and baking spice, finishing on a chocolate note.

2020 Cascina Adelaide 4 Vigne Barolo Nebbiolo from Italy
#149601 750 mL
2020 Cascina Adelaide 4 Vigne Barolo
93 Wine Spectator
A bright, floral- and red berry–driven red, featuring rose, strawberry, cherry and wild herb flavors. This is elegant, yet with a firm base of well-integrated tannins. Shows fine harmony and length. Best from 2026 through 2042.
92 Monica Larner - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The Cascina Adelaide 2020 Barolo 4 Vigne is made with fruit from four sites (Preda in Barolo, Bussia in Monforte d'Alba, Fossati in La Morra and Pernanno in Castiglione Falletto). The wine is perfumed and intense with tart plum, pressed rose with the bitter part of the petal, smoke and cured tobacco. The heat of the 2020 vintage has transferred that extra power to the bouquet but also to the palate. The wine ends with young and very tight tannins.

2020 Vinaceous Red Right Hand Blend from Australia
#148856 750 mL
2020 Vinaceous Red Right Hand
90 Erin Larkin - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
It's impossible to read this label and not think of Nick Cave, which is a great way to start I suppose. The 2020 Red Right Hand is a blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Tempranillo, although the order of these varieties changes with the seasons. This is herbal and sweet, with a soft core of fleshy fruit. It's not long or complex in any significant way; the Tempranillo feels like a microscopic cog in the overarching plan, which is a pleasing thing, given the supple flow of Shiraz and Grenache from Margaret River, from whence the fruit for this wine hails. Pleasant drinking here.

2020 Top Source Columbia Valley Red
95 Wine Enthusiast
Distinctly floral, with earthy violets and oregano joining forces with boysenberries, basil, fresh-turned earth, aged balsamic vinegar and sweet gardenias. The mouthfeel is slick and slippery, with redcurrant, dried cherry, orange peel and sausage roll flavors caressing the palate.
95 Owen Bargreen - OwenBargreen.com
Outstanding in this challenging vintage, the 2020 Top Source Red Wine combines 60% Grenache with the remainder Syrah. This quite honestly smells like a Cayuse wine. The range of aromatics is really outstanding with Umami, hoisin sauce, wet stone, black truffle crudo and suggestions of boysenberry sauce. The palate is beautifully textured, with fantastic finesse and length. The combination of weight, finesse and flavor/aromatic range is downright stunning. Do not sleep on this beauty. Drink 2023-2030
94 Eric Guido - Vinous Media
The 2020 Red Wine Columbia Valley is savory, with a burst of crushed ashen stones and dried blackberries accentuated by spiced citrus and camphor. This is silky-smooth and pliant. Crunchy mineral tones complicate vividly ripe red and blue fruits. The 2020 finishes incredibly long, crisply refreshing with a Violette pastille nuance that lingers on and on. The Columbia Valley Red Wine is juicy and fun yet full of character. It's a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah refined in all neutral oak.
94 Sean Sullivan - Sean P. Sullivan NW WIne Report
This is a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, with a sizable portion of that fruit clearly coming from the stones in Walla Walla Valley. The aromas are exuberant, leading with notes of peat, fresh and dried tobacco, olive brine, crushed violet, wet rock, and a whiff of tangerine. There’s pleasing delicacy while still plenty of intensity to the soft-feeling, savory and umami-filled flavors, accented by olive and mineral notes. The finish sticks around for at least a 30-second count. It’s a stunner and a rare find at this price. 13.5% alcohol. 926 cases produced. TCA-free micro-agglomerated cork.

Blended with 5% Petit Verdot, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Heart Of The Hill Vineyard is a pretty, floral, elegant Red Mountain Cabernet that has a perfume of blue fruits, medium-bodied richness, a fresh, focused, yet nicely structured mouthfeel, and classy background notes of violets and spicy oak. It brings good ripeness while staying balanced and light on its feet. It's a good value and, I suspect, will keep for a decade.

2020 Giacomo Borgogno & Figli Barolo
97 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
A deeper ruby/red color, the 2020 Barolo comes from the same vineyards as the No Name as well as Annunziata and offers more depth and ripeness, with aromas of black raspberries, candied cherries, preserved flowers, sweet herbs, and mossy earth. It has outstanding ripeness and purity and is long on the palate, with all its components coming together, delivering warmth, structure, and freshness. This is pretty serious wine, one of the best blended wines I’ve tasted in this vintage, and it’s going to be hard to beat. Buy it now.
