Ron Lachini's reserve-level Chardonnay is a luscious wine with ripe pear, peach and papaya flavors. It's fleshy and textured, giving weight and depth through the lightly toasty finish. The acids bring a touch of Meyer lemon, and the mix of ferments in concrete egg, oak puncheons and stainless steel has been beautifully managed to bring out the best of each.

Even more Cabernet Sauvignon-heavy, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Hidden Windows (90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot) offers a darker, slightly more earthy, herbal style as well as classic notes of tobacco, chocolate, and assorted spicy nuances. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, and mouth-filling, with a terrific mid-palate as well as velvety tannins. It too will keep for 10-15 years.
