The Cascina Adelaide 2020 Barolo 4 Vigne is made with fruit from four sites (Preda in Barolo, Bussia in Monforte d'Alba, Fossati in La Morra and Pernanno in Castiglione Falletto). The wine is perfumed and intense with tart plum, pressed rose with the bitter part of the petal, smoke and cured tobacco. The heat of the 2020 vintage has transferred that extra power to the bouquet but also to the palate. The wine ends with young and very tight tannins.
