Gary Walsh - The Wine Front
Cherry, strawberry, almond paste, mint, and spice, slight liquorice. It’s juicy, red fruits and cherry, light sandy tannin, something of an orange peel tang, with a finish of good length. Medium-bodied, perhaps a little diffuse, but kind of charming. Maybe not long term, but what’s here is very nice and and it’s good to drink around about now. A softer expression of this wine, yet it retains something of a classic feel. Very good.
