90 Antonio Galloni - Vinous
The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon (Santa Ynez Valley) is racy and opulent to the core. Super-ripe black cherry, espresso, licorice, chocolate and lavender infuse the palate with notable depth. This forward, juicy Cabernet offers tons of immediacy. I imagine it will be quite the crowd-pleaser.

The 2023 Chardonnay Green Quartz was sourced from Casablanca. Fifty percent of the wine aged for six months in French oak barrels. Golden in hue, it delivers creamy, buttery aromas alongside notes of corn, apple and ginger. Indulgent and rich, the tasty, simple palate delivers balanced finish. This is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
90 James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com
Oatmeal aromas with notes of pineapple, roasted almond and pie crust. Slightly saline on the palate with medium body and bright acidity. Not complex but pretty flavorful in the finish. Vegan. Sustainable. Drink now.

Aromas of tropical fruits invade the nose of this light-bodied wine. The palate delivers subtle notes of mango and pineapple, followed by spices. This is an enjoyable and easygoing Chardonnay. — Jesica Vargas

Varietally expressive and enticing, showing blackcurrant, tobacco, clove and cedar aromas, followed by a splendidly weighted palate offering succulent fruit intensity with refined texture and finely pitched tannins. Wonderfully structured with harmony and persistency. At its best: now to 2034.

Clear. Lightly yeasty aromas of dough, Asian pear, creamy nougat with a silky, fruity-yet-dry medium body and a refreshing melon, kiwi coconut cream, and dusty potato accented finish. A vibrant junmai sake that will excel with spicy Asian dishes and appeal to wine drinkers. (tasted 6-14-13)
85 Stephen Tanzer - Vinous Media
"Pale, bright straw color. Vaguely grapey aroma with hints of herbs and anise. Rather low-toned flavors of squash, banana and sweet butter. On the soft wide, but fairly subtle and easy to drink. A midweight example that's cleanly made but a bit warm."

2021 Altesino Montosoli Brunello Di Montalcino
98 James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com
Dense aromas of red cherries, bark, mushrooms and plums follow through to a medium body with tangy acidity and juicy flavors. It’s very long and quite chunky, with velvety tannins and a flavorful finish. Savory and tangy at the end. Drinkable now, but better in three or four years, Try after 2028.
97 Monica Larner - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Proprietor Elisabetta Gnudi Angelini has important holdings in this special cru, and if you're after Montosoli, this is one of the best expressions around. Fruit comes from a five-hectare plot with friable galestro soils at a sweet spot perched at 350 meters above sea level. The Altesino 2021 Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Montosoli flaunts an especially sharp profile with enhanced minerality and focus. There is wild cherry and dried currant, but ultimately more impactful are the elegant aromas of crushed stone. These give the wine brightness and vertical lift. The mouthfeel is medium- to full-bodied in texture with fine, powdery tannins that are well integrated. It is matured in Slavonian oak casks. You can cellar this wine longer, but you can also enjoy it in the medium term to take advantage of that pretty fruit freshness. Production is 12,000 bottles.

99 James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com
Superb aromas of black currants, rose petal and mint. Lavender and stones too. Full body with incredible fruit density. Complex, yet it's agile and bright. Tannins are perfectly polished. It builds on the palate and shows the structure of a first growth Bordeaux but remains so Chilean. A blend of 58% cabernet sauvignon, 15% carmenere, 12% malbec, 10% merlot, and 5% petit verdot. From biodynamically grown grapes. This is a joy to taste now but it will show itself in 2019. Even better than the amazing 2012.
