2025 Chateau Pradeaux Bandol Rose
93 Nicolas Greinacher - Vinous
The 2025 Bandol Ros茅 is already showing beautifully, offering a medium-bodied palate with lovely drive and freshness, the latter especially impressive given the warmth of the vintage. There is a sense of poise here that sets it apart, combining Mediterranean sun with real structural discipline. This is precisely why great Bandol Ros茅 enjoys such a cult following鈥攊t is not merely refreshing, but serious and characterful with the depth to evolve in bottle. Few Ros茅s in the world occupy that space so convincingly, and this wine is a clear reminder of the category鈥檚 highest possibilities.

Lustau Dry Amontillado Los Arcos Solera Sherry Reserva (#82 On Ws Top 100 Wines Of 2012)

"The non-vintage Dry Amontillado Los Arcos Solera Reserva reveals a medium amber hue along with a nutty, honeyed, dry personality with great acid." (08/12)
90 Wine Spectator
#82 - Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of 2012 "A more flattering style, with an off-dry edge to the walnut paste, hazelnut, date and clove-studded orange notes, which show nice focus and zip on the finish. Drink now. 2,000 cases imported. -JM" (Reviewed 02/12)

2022 Groth Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Sauvignon from United States
#152308 1.5L
2022 Groth Cabernet Sauvignon
92 Joe Czerwinski - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"An impressive value for an Oakville AVA Cabernet, Groth's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is a bit reticent and slow out of the chute, but aeration brings out nice aromas of black cherries and subtle cedar notes. A blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot, it's medium- to full-bodied but streamlined and silky, showing impressive length and elegance for the vintage. The new-oak component comes in at 45%, imparting just enough structure to ensure a decade's worth of drinkability. With more than 20,000 cases produced, it should be relatively easy to track down a few bottles."

#142087 750 mL
2020 Guigal Cote Rotie La Landonne
98-100 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
I think the star of the show in 2020 will be the 2020 C么te R么tie La Landonne, and this is one I can't wait to taste from bottle. It's slightly more elegant and supple compared to the massive 2019, yet it has a similar style in its extravagant dark fruits, truffle, game, iron, and smoked meat-like aromas and flavors. It's a powerful, full-bodied, concentrated C么te R么tie that's going to need to be forgotten for 8-10 years, although if you ever wanted to try a truly great young La Landonne, this might be the one given its incredible fruit and texture.
97-100 Nicolas Greinacher - Vinous
The potentially perfect 2020 C么te-R么tie La Landonne is riveting. Bringing together all the finest elements of the Guigal house style, it explodes from the glass with smoky blackberry jam, menthol, crushed rocks, cured meat, iodine, licorice, cloves and black olive tapenade. Charged with a massive tannic core, this concentrated powerhouse dazzles with off-the-charts intensity yet total clarity and focus. Built like a skyscraper, the 2020 will surely be a long-distance runner.
98-100 Joe Czerwinski - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The undisputed star of the cellar this vintage (at least at this stage), the 2020 Cote Rotie La Landonne is not only unbelievably complex on the nose鈥攚ith an awesome stew of vegetal-herbal nuances blended with cassis and smoked meat鈥攂ut full-bodied, concentrated, velvety-textured and remarkably long and tannic. Patience will be required.
99 James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com
This is ample, stunning and concentrated, with impressive energy. Dark berries, grilled herbs, stones, leather, undergrowth and loads of baking spices. Full-bodied with fine, sinewy tannins. There is a solid frame of tannins bringing a serious character on the palate. Dense, dark core of blackberries and spices funneling through the palate. Highly textured with incredible drive. Focused and shaped for aging. Try from 2028.

1967 Dalva 1967 Colheita Port Port Varieties from Portugal
#126765 750 mL
1967 Dalva 1967 Colheita Port
94 Mark Squires - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 1967 Colheita Tawny Port Dalva is a field blend coming in at 145 grams per liter of residual sugar. It is surprisingly young for its age, the wave of sugar hiding the complexity. Very sweet on the finish, this does have those old tawny nuances underneath. There's bark and molasses to go with the sugar and caramel. It seems rich, but not overly concentrated. The most impressive part is the finish. It lingers beautifully. In fact, it is hard to get it out of your mouth. You may be tasting it the next morning. While, on first taste, the 1985 actually seems more complex and this 1967 seems a bit too sugary, this eventually proves that it has the goods. The long finish alone demonstrates that nicely.

Like a worn, comfy leather chair, this is comforting and supple in feel, with lightly mulled peach, green fig and cherry fruit flavors laced liberally with praline, toasted sesame, argan oil and green tea notes. A touch demure, with a soft focus at the core that contrasts beautifully with its racy edges. A stunner. Drink now. 155 cases made, 20 cases imported.

This wine is richly structured, with fine tannins from both the fruit and wood aging. The wine's power is mitigated by juicy black-currant flavors and the great ripeness. Drink this wine from 2024.
