2018 Remelluri Rioja Reserva Blend from Spain
#152687 750 mL
2018 Remelluri Rioja Reserva
95 Luis Gutierrez - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2018 Reserva comes from a late growing season and was produced with local varieties like Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and others from their 86 hectares of vineyards at 590 to 805 meters in altitude on limestone, sandstone and marl soils, now certified organic. The grapes were picked late with good ripeness and health and fermented with natural yeasts in stainless steel and open-top oak vats, then the wine matured in oak containers of different sizes for 22 to 24 months. This is a very good classical wine, serious and balanced, with very fine tannins, a balanced mouthfeel and enough power and concentration to be able to show elegance and nuance. It's very tasty, almost salty. 301,779 bottle produced. It was bottled in May 2021.

2022 Elio Grasso Barolo Gavarini Chiniera
96 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
The 2022 Barolo Gavarini Chiniera pours a uniform ruby color and offers wonderful clarity and refinement, with aromas of black raspberries, anise, cracked pepper, and citrus peel emerging from the glass. Medium-bodied yet beautifully layered, it fills the palate with ripe, refined tannins and refreshing acidity that carries into a long, floating finish. Compared with the Ginestra, this wine shows more tension and citrus-toned lift. Around 16,000 bottles were produced. Drink 2027-2045.

93 Eric Guido - Vinous Media
"Dried black cherries and crushed plums mix with cocoa, sage and dried orange peels as the 2020 Brunello di Montalcino emerges from the glass. This displays incredible vibrancy within. Itās juicy and spry, with ripe red and black fruits elevated by brilliant acidity as nuances of sour citrus add further tension toward the close. The 2020 leaves the palate stained in primary concentration and a coating of fine tannins, tapering off spicy and long yet still lively as hints of tart raspberry keep the mouth watering for more. Recent vintages from Pian delle Vigne have delightful new energy and verve."

2023 Bergstrom Pinot Noir Silice Pinot Noir from United States
#149071 750 mL
2023 Bergstrom Pinot Noir Silice
98 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
The 2023 Pinot Noir Silice is layered and seductive, showing black raspberry liqueur, wet stones, toasted spice, cardamom, and black cherries. āSiliceā means silica, and this wine comes from forest blocks planted in 2001 on the site with the highest sand content in the soils that they work with. The structure is remarkable, fine, and floating on the palate, with refreshing acidity and an angular, well-defined, gravelly texture to its tannins, which is highly appealing and reminiscent of Nebbiolo in its structure. Drink 2027-2047.
96 J. D'Angelo - International Wine Report
The 2023 Bergstrƶm Silice Vineyard Pinot Noir from the Chehalem Mountains is crafted from whole cluster fermentation and matured for 12 months in 15% new French oak. Sourced from vines planted in 2001, it opens with aromas of crushed strawberry, red currant, and rose petal layered over hints of wet slate and dried thyme. The palate is silky and refined, showcasing blood orange, mineral dust, and subtle spice, framed by a saline edge that adds vibrancy. Elegant yet deeply rooted, it flows with precision and poise, hinting at long-term aging potential while already showing impressive integration and charm. 1666 cases made. Highly recommended.

The nose of this bottling from the former Addamo Vineyard is full of underbrush and sage notes, with complex layers of candied raspberry, wisteria and cinnamon stick aromas. Juicy raspberry and pomegranate flavors kick off the palate, where allspice, nutmeg, dried ginger and flowering thyme notes coalesce.

2019 Herdade De Coelheiros Tapada Cabernet Sauvignon Alicante
94 Revista Adega - Revista Adega
A red blend composed of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Alicante Bouschet, aged for 18 months in oak, partly in 500-liter barrels and partly in 25 hl foudres. Here, too, there is a stylistic shift towards more tension, precision, fruit clarity, and depth, while maintaining the generous profile of its perfectly ripe red and black fruits, all supported by taut, sandy-textured tannins and vibrant acidity, which give the wine fluidity and persistence. Undoubtedly, the best version of this red wine tasted by ADEGA to date. Alcohol 14%.
