2021 Flora Springs Trilogy
94 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
The flagship 2021 Trilogy from this estate checks in as 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, and the rest Malbec, all raised in mostly (all?) new oak. This medium to full-bodied, ripe, concentrated, satisfying effort has lots of blueberry and darker raspberry-like fruit, some chocolaty oak and dusty minerality, ripe tannins, and a great finish. I love its overall balance, it has notable purity, and I see no reason it shouldn't evolve for 15-20 years.
93 Joe Czerwinski - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot and 5% Malbec, Flora Springs's 2021 Trilogy offers up an intriguing bouquet of ripe cherries, fine sandalwood and a hint of mint too. While not a huge blockbuster wine, it's medium to full-bodied, nicely proportioned and silky in feel, with a lingering finish.

2023 Lieu Dit Cabernet Sauvignon Santa Ynez Valley
93 Billy Norris - Vinous Media
Another wine in this range of compelling identity, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon marries old-school varietal signatures with midweight texture and fruit-forward approachability. Rich blackberry, dark chocolate, grilled herbs and sweet pipe tobacco flesh out in the glass. Generous but not heavy, the 2023 will delight lovers of New World-inflected but classically built wines. Fabulous.
92 Matthew Luczy - Robert Parkers The Wine Advocate
A lovely mix of old-school charm and contemporary polish, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon combines a lush core of dark fruits with lifted, herbal and tobacco nuances. The palate is rich and velvety yet light on its feet as it moves into a deep, resonant finish propelled by chalky tannins and a measured, vibrant spine of acidity.

2021 Caprili Brunello Di Montalcino
96 Kerin O'Keefe - kerinokeefe.com
The classy 2021 Brunello from Caprili has great aromatics that include violet, new leather, camphor and dark spice. Smooth and enveloping, the juicy, generous palate offers baked plum, ripe raspberry, cake spice and licorice set against velvety tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it balanced. Drink 2028–2039.
95 Eric Guido - Vinous Media
The 2021 Brunello di Montalcino unfolds a darkly alluring bouquet of crushed raspberries, dried violets and nuances of ginger and sage. It is mineral-intense with an attractive stony character. A silken wave of ripe red and black berry fruits slowly saturates, and a licorice tinge emerges. Hulking tannins frame the finish without slowing its momentum as a twang of citrus adds lively form. This dark beast will require patience but will also reward it.

2019 Credaro 1000 Crowns Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia

2019 Credaro 1000 Crowns Cabernet Sauvignon
95 Aaron Brasher - The Real Review
Young, vibrant and youthful colour in the glass. Black fruit aromas, mulberry and blackberry along with bramble, dried herbs, menthol, cedar and pencil shavings. Dark, rich and full-flavoured, there plenty of blackcurrant, mulberry, dark cherry and spice, there’s a also a lick of soy and meaty umaminess. The wine has a lively line of acidity and granular, layered acidity. Very smart gear, plenty going on.
95 Wine Pilot
Not your shy and retiring kind, 1000 Crowns comes out plush, rich and complex. A fair whack of vanillin oak introduces the black-hearted wine with lifted florals – violet, briar – and tilled earth, undergrowth aromas. The wine can take it. At 14.5% alcohol, it’s on the ripe and generous side. Handsome fine tannins sweep long across the palate emphasising cassis and black fruits with savoury input and some expensive oak-led cigar box characters. Time and patience will reward the drinker.

97 Antonio Galloni - Vinous
The 2020 Gattinara Molsino is a dark, brooding Gattinara. Black cherry, plum, licorice, crushed rocks, lavender and spice all race across the palate. A wine of somber intensity, the 2020 is built for the long haul. Deep and beguiling, firm tannins enshroud the long, building finish. Drink: 2028-2050

I also tasted the 2022 Viñedos en Labastida. The wines are produced in a similar way to highlight the differences of the places and vintages. In 2022, it's a similar blend of different plots with some 85% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha and 5% white grapes, and it had a similar vinification and élevage in 500- and 600-liter oak foudres in their cave. It's very primary and fruit-driven, with a nose of ripe berries and herbs, a lactic twist and a fine thread in the palate, with surprisingly fine tannins for a 2022. 3,600 bottles were filled in September 2023.

"Citrus, white pears and hints of snow peas on the nose of this juicy and crisp white. It’s medium-bodied, bright and cool, with a light peppery twist at the end. From organically grown grapes. Drink now. Screw cap." - Claire Nesbitt
87 Anne Krebiehl MW - Vinous Media
"The 2024 Grüner Veltliner Kamptal Terrassen comes from various sites in Kamptal, across different altitudes and from younger vines of the single sites. It was made in stainless steel. Creamy, lemony yeast is the first accent on the nose, followed by wet pebble. The palate is fresh, lithe and lemony, with subtle earthiness on the mid-palate and gentle citrus freshness."

2024 Azores Wine Company Arinto Dos Acores
93 Luis Gutierrez - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The bright golden-colored 2024 Arinto dos Açores is a little riper than the 2023 and has more depth. There's more Arinto in Pico than Verdelho, with more older vines. It was a low-yielding year with good acidity, and the wine has gained in texture and depth, with notes of yellow fruit. It comes in at 12% alcohol with 7.2 grams of acidity, which give it a vibrant mouthfeel. 9,400 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2025.
