The 2023 Quartz Sauvignon Blanc is bright and lively, this beings with vivid aromas of lychee, lime zest, herbs, wet stones and white floral notes all bursting from the glass. On the palate this is nicely balanced with a lovely combination of bright acidity, citrus and fresh tropical fruits all leading up to the mouthwatering finish.

An extremely concentrated and refined Chateauneuf that presses all the pleasure buttons, yet remains subtle. Breathtaking energy at the very long finish. Listing all the aromas would take too long, but there’s a slew of red fruits, Mediterranean herbs and a touch of candied citrus in there. Great touch and texture on the mid-palate, harmonious and vibrant. Expanding and ample long finish. A cuvee of 60% grenache and 40% syrah. Drink or hold.

Enticing nose of honeycomb, orange blossoms and apricots. What a beautiful balance of richness and freshness this has. The touch of fine tannins very neatly supports the full-bodied palate. Long, silky and structured finish. A cuvee of 40% old-vine clairette, 30% roussanne, 15% bourboulenc and small amounts of other traditional white grapes. 80% was vinified in stainless steel, with the remainder in a mix of new oak and well-used 400-liter oak barrels. "Christian Seely recently introduced this wine in New York as a rethinking of the super-premium, multivintage Porto style. Black replaces LB, Noval's former entry in this range, and uses top-quality fruit to create a soft, accommodating texture. The aromas are purple-black while the flavors are pure black cherry. Acidity spices it up and adds to the juiciness of the finish. It's plump in the middle and supple all the way through, ending on fruit-skin tannin and a touch of chocolate from oak. At the level of many of the region's best LBVs, this wine may become a staple for a new generation of Port drinkers."
