The 2023 Fleurie comes from vines on partly granitic and sable/Limoneau soils. This has the most floral bouquet of the range, with raspberry and Morello cherries, touches of bergamot and light loamy scents. The palate is medium-bodied and fresh with crisp and quite strict tannins, but perhaps does not have the same complexity as the Morgon on the finish. Still, this is very fine.
