The Famille Chermette estate has been a family-run winegrowing business since the 17th century, located in Saint-Vérand., in the Golden Stone area, South of Beaujolais in Rhone. Jean-Etienne Chermette joined the domaine in 2017 and took over from Martine and Pierre-Marie Chermette in February 2023. Passionate about his work, he is fully committed to producing top-quality wines: white, rosé and red Beaujolais, crus such as Brouilly, Fleurie, Saint-Amour, Morgon and Moulin à Vent, Crémants de Bourgogne and traditional fruit creams. While benefiting from traditional family know-how, Jean-Etienne brought a touch of modernity and innovation, notably by introducing new appellations such as Morgon and new grape varieties such as Pinot, Viognier and soon Syrah. He also modernised the packaging and designed a new logo.
