"This is showing fantastic aromatic complexity, exuding notes of walnut, quince, dried apricot, white cocoa and pastry. It's creamy, sleek and layered. Very soft and fine bubbles. Long, caressing and fresh finish. Disgorged in 2023. Dosage 4,5g/L. Chardonnay from the Grand Cru villages of Cramant (58%) and Chouilly (27%) with wine from the 1er Cru village of Cuis (15%). Drink or hold."

Entirely Chardonnay and coming from the villages of Cramant, Chouilly, and Cuis, the shimmering yellow-golden 2016 Champagne Special Club Extra Brut is rounded and attractive with aromas of fresh baked croissant, honeyed green apple, and lemon bars. Approachable and medium-bodied, it fills the palate with an elegant mousse, a soft texture of citrus oil, and a clean, chalky finish. It’s already showing balanced layers and classic charm with a promising ability to enjoy over the coming 12 or more years. Disgorged April 2023, it has the addition of 4 grams per liter dosage

2010 Cerbaiona Brunello Di Montalcino Sangiovese from Italy

2010 Cerbaiona Brunello Di Montalcino
100 Antonio Galloni - Vinous
"The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino is every bit as thrilling as it was on the many occasions I tasted it from barrel. Black cherry, hard candy, plum, rose petal, menthol and lavender saturate the palate in a sumptuous, racy Brunello endowed with magnificent depth and pedigree. An utterly stunning, sensual wine, the 2010 constantly changes in the glass as it conquers all the senses with an exotic kaleidoscope of aromas, flavors and textures. I remember tasting the 2010 from cask a few years ago when Diego Molinari was too unwell to go down to the cellar. Nora Molinari tasked me with essentially serving myself as we went from vintage to vintage and cask to cask. For days after, I was mortified that I might not have closed some of the spigots tightly enough. Fortunately, that was not the case. In all of my years tasting the wines of Montalcino, I have only come across two wines with this level of textural unctuosity and sweetness; Gianfranco Soldera's 1983 Brunello and 1990 Riserva. Cerbaiona's 2010 Brunello di Montalcino will leave readers weak at the knees. It is every bit that profound."
98 Monica Larner - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino is an absolutely distinctive wine and one unlike this producer has ever released. It feels radically different in terms of concentration, intensity and complexity. I was blown away by the beautiful and profound sense of inner harmony on display here. The wine puts on an epic showing of aromas that span from the simple ripe cherry and blackcurrant to the most ethereal tones of balsam herb, root beer and licorice. In between, are hearty aromas of cured tobacco and smoked meat. It really has it all along the entire Sangiovese spectrum. In the mouth, the wine offers similar complexity with thick extraction backed by sweet and sour layers of fruit and tannic structure. If you are looking for outstanding Brunello, look no further. This is one of the top three wines of the vintage. Drink Date: 2017 - 2035
97 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino is serious stuff and one powerhouse of a Brunello. Deep, rich, black fruits, roasted herbs, some smoke meat notes, licorice, and loads of spice take some coaxing at first, yet the wine quickly offers loads of fireworks with aeration. This full-bodied, massively concentrated Brunello has ripe tannins, a stacked mid-palate, and awesome length. Give it a decant if drinking any time soon.

A slight honeyed note to the candied lemon peel and yellow plum flavors imparts a richness to this white, which is a lush style for sure, with chamomile and straw notes chiming in. A tug of bitter tannins brings form and balance to the long finish, graced by a salted almond note. Drink now through 2030. 1,999 cases imported.

Plump blackberry and currant fruit are underpinned by more mineral, spicy notes like graphite and black pepper on this crowd-pleasing Cab. Midweight, with succulent black fruit in the fore, framed by spice-flecked tannins, this makes for a solid week-night pizza or burger pairing. — Christina Pickard

Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2020 Samantha’s Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet-purple color. Crushed black cherries, black raspberries, and mulberries scents leap from the glass, followed by a profound core of warm cassis, dark chocolate, Indian spices, and menthol with a waft of licorice. The full-bodied palate delivers amazing intensity and brightness with beautiful tension and a grainy texture, featuring loads of black, red, and blue fruit layers, finishing long and minerally. It has that red-fruited, earlier harvest vivacity with nicely ripe tannins—delicious!

A precise, well-built and seductive rosé with aromas of forest berries, dried orange peel and fresh flowers on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with bright acidity.
