A blend of our old Carignan vines over 80 years old at 25%, 25% Syrah and 50% Mourvèdre, the “Vieilles Vignes” cuvée comes from grapes sorted on the stem and harvested manually for average yields. not exceeding 25 ho/ha.
Traditionally vinified in long vatting for more than 30 days, aged in French oak barrels for 14 months at 20%, unfiltered and with a minimum use of SO2, the “Vieilles Vignes” vintage offers an intense and thick color with a nose of red fruits (cherry, blackcurrant), a dense mouth with very present tannins as well as aromas of leather and humus with a peppery finish.
Organic wine but also from our biodynamic vineyard, this vintage can easily improve for 10 years.
