The 2023 Clio is composed of 70% Monastrell and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from Jumilla. It was aged for 23 months in French and American oak barrels. Recently bottled, the oak is at the forefront but will integrate. The wine opens with plum, soft herbal notes and blackberry. Intense with fruit complexity, the palate is creamy, flavorful and delicate in tannins, finishing with a touch of oak that will meld with time.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Affinity is mostly Howell Mountain fruit in this vintage, which elevates its quality but also makes it more difficult to enjoy young. The NV18 is largely a base blend of the 2018 vintage with additional vintages blended in, typically the previous two. Aged two years in neutral French oak. It's good to know, for those who know, that these wines are often incredibly savoury, yet this is fairly bright and ripe-fruited, with hints of dried straw grass, dried tobacco, loamy earth, tar, and incense. Gentle tannins create a soft palate expression, building with a full-bodied richness of darkberry fruit, and brown baking spices on the mineral-scented finish.

The 2022 Garnacha Veraton Garnacha from Campo de Borja aged primarily 80% in new French and American oak. This is dominated by the barrel aging, with a nose of vanilla, sandalwood, red fruit candy and rose perfume. Creamy and structured, with acidity in line with the style, this is a rich, vigorous red in which the 16% alcohol is well integrated. It only really appears on the finish along with hints of hay.
