2022 Pierre Morey Monthelie Rouge
91 Neal Martin - Vinous Media
The 2022 Monthélie Rouge has a lifted well-defined bouquet with cranberry and wild strawberry quite ripe and fleshy without being overbearing. Just generous. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannins. It?s extremely elegant with piquant red fruit and a little spice on the finish. What a superb Monthélie from Anne Morey. (Drink between 2024 - 2033).

2020 Castell'in Villa Chianti Classico
93 Antonio Galloni - Vinous
The 2020 Chianti Classico is a gorgeous wine from Castell'in Villa. Soft contours are the first sign of a rare young Chianti Classico from this estate that will drink well with minimal cellaring. Dark wild cherry, cedar and pipe tobacco open first. The 2020 offers gorgeous dark Sangiovese fruit along with all of the structure that is so typical of the wines here. Plum, graphite, leather, incense and dried herbs shape the striking finish. What an absolute delight!

2021 Ridge Lytton Estate Petite Sirah Petite Sirah from United States
#142910 750 mL
2021 Ridge Lytton Estate Petite Sirah
93 Billy Norris - Vinous Media
Comprising 100% Petite Sirah from Ridge’s Lytton Estate in the Dry Creek Valley, the 2021 Petite Sirah Estate is a brooding, savory, forbiddingly tannic red that clubs you over the head with power and intensity. Leather, oil-cured olive, lavender and sappy blackberry fruit run through this particularly rustic, animalistic edition of Lytton Petite. The fruit is plush and velvety beneath the monstrous structure, but it’s going to take a while to settle this beast down.
92 Erin Brooks - Robert Parker's the Wine Advocate
The 2021 Petite Sirah Lytton Estate opens with initial touches of tar and struck flint that give way to black cherries and currants, wild thyme, pencil shavings, coffee grounds and earth. The full-bodied palate is elegantly styled, its chalky tannins nestled into concentrated, perfumed flavors. Its vibrant acidity adds to its elegance, and it has a long, latent finish. Give it 3–5 years in bottle.

2020 Elio Grasso Barolo Runcot Riserva
98+ Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
Pouring a deeper ruby color, the 2020 Barolo Riserva Rüncot is a powerful yet contemplative wine. Aromas of black raspberries, cedar, citrus oils, and dark stones unfold gradually from the glass. Medium- to full-bodied, it shows remarkable clarity and concentration without weight, with mineral depth and persistent energy across the palate. The oak spice is present yet beautifully integrated, adding complexity rather than dominance. Built for long aging, this exceptional Riserva will reward patience. Around 5,000 bottles were produced. Drink 2027-2057.
98+ Antonio Galloni - Vinous
The 2020 Barolo Riserva Rüncot is just as memorable as it was last year. More than anything else, the 2020 is a Rüncot that prizes finesse over just power. Silky tannins, mid-weight structure and striking delineation further amplify that initial impression. Readers should note that Elio Grasso is releasing the 2020 ahead of the 2019. I can't remember ever tasting a young Rüncot with such finesse.
