Made from 80% Meunier and the rest Pinot Noir, the NV Champagne Blanc De Noirs Eugene is a perpetual reserve blend spanning from 2002 to 2021. It pours a rich golden straw color and offers a commanding presence in its notes of graham cracker spice, orange peel, ginger, and wild cherry. Pillowy and rounded, the palate is supple and juicy with red fruit and a saline lift off the finish. This beautiful wine is singing now, and it should hold up nicely over the coming 8-10 years.

"Domaine Olga Raffault’s 2020 “les Peuilles” is a superb young bottle of Chinon. The bouquet is deep, complex and very precise, wafting from the glass in a mix of dark berries, cassis, cigar ash, flinty soil tones, tree bark, just a hint of oak and plenty of upper register smokiness. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and complex, with a lovely core of black fruit, fine soil signature, ripe, seamless tannins, fine focus and grip and a long, beautifully balanced and complex finish. There is just a whisper of brett here, but compared to vintages from the domaine back in the 1990s, it is virtually undetectable in comparison. Good juice. 2030-2075."

The 2025 Cinsault Ungrafted from Guarilihue in Itata was aged for eight months in very old barrels. The nose offers pure cherry and pomegranate fruit alongside a delicate violet note, a less typical but appealing facet of the variety. Dry, fluid and agile on the palate, it has a smooth texture and strong flavor intensity. It sits in the glou-glou vein, yet with added depth and a modern edge. Clear and seductive.
