Made with brown rice and finished in toasted barrels. Cereal grains with freeze-dried strawberries on the nose as well as toasted herbs, blueberries, and fruity bubble gum. The palate is creamy and light, with notes of strawberry yogurt, bitter chocolate, and burnt sugar. A syrupy finish brings custard, tiramisu, and caramel flan. It is atypical in its profile and at times light bodied, but demonstrates good constriction and drinkability.

Built around a core of Clynelish single malt, the nose has Victoria sponge, blossom honey, pear, shortbread, cantaloupe, and banana chips. Creamy and sweet on the palate, it bursts with fresh tropical fruits, honey, panna cotta, vanilla, creamed banana, dried pineapple, and papaya flavors, with hints of passion fruit and citrus. Smoked orange peel stands out in the zesty, fruity finish.

Dripping with butterscotch and marzipan, this is a gorgeous mix of confections and spice. The toasted sweetness of coconut macaroon cookies and graham cracker pie crust meets clove, orange peel, teaberry, and a seductive sandalwood note. A whirlwind of spices grabs hold of the tongue, sinking slowly into creamy nut butters, earthy tannins, and toasted pecan. The persistent sweet caramel and fruit handle generous water without yielding, just revealing ever more flavor. Editors' Choice
