The 2024 Langhe Freisa is especially fine. Thick skins and loose bunches were ideal in this rainy vintage. Deep and layered, with tons of energy, the Freisa is truly superb in 2024. Dark-toned fruit, gravel, incense, game, licorice and dried herbs all come alive in the glass. Sweet spice and floral top notes resonate on the finish.

This racy, light-bodied riesling has fabulous juiciness. I love the zesty pink grapefruit and blood orange flavors that make this such a joyful wine. Very long, expressive finish. A singular blend of 36% Grenache Noir, 28% Cinsault, 20% Mourvèdre, 9% Tibouren, 2% Syrah, 3% Carignan, 1% Caladoc and 1% Rolle or Vermentino, the 2024 Cotes de Provence Rose Lampe de Meduse reveals aromas of strawberries, pomegranate and iodine. Medium-bodied, bright, supple and juicy, it has a delicate freshness that leads to a long, mouthwatering finish. This would be perfect with Mediterranean food.

The 2022 Garnacha Veraton Garnacha from Campo de Borja aged primarily 80% in new French and American oak. This is dominated by the barrel aging, with a nose of vanilla, sandalwood, red fruit candy and rose perfume. Creamy and structured, with acidity in line with the style, this is a rich, vigorous red in which the 16% alcohol is well integrated. It only really appears on the finish along with hints of hay.
