Cool and airy aromas of citrus confit, algae and sea breeze slide gracefully into rich, generous and caressing flavors that possess even better mid-palate density while exhibiting sneaky good length on the very dry though again, not especially austere finale. This is what I would describe as plush but with good punch and a wine that should also repay short to mid-term keeping.

Enticing nose of honeycomb, orange blossoms and apricots. What a beautiful balance of richness and freshness this has. The touch of fine tannins very neatly supports the full-bodied palate. Long, silky and structured finish. A cuvee of 40% old-vine clairette, 30% roussanne, 15% bourboulenc and small amounts of other traditional white grapes. 80% was vinified in stainless steel, with the remainder in a mix of new oak and well-used 400-liter oak barrels. The 2023 Quartz Sauvignon Blanc is bright and lively, this beings with vivid aromas of lychee, lime zest, herbs, wet stones and white floral notes all bursting from the glass.
