2020 Mt. Beautiful Pinot Noir Pinot Noir from New Zealand
#150756 750 mL
2020 Mt. Beautiful Pinot Noir
93 Wine Enthusiast
There's a radiance to this wine that reflects its unique, ultra-cool-climate region. A gravelly, stony mineral note appears at first sniff, but give it some aeration in glass and it fleshes out with plump red berries, white pepper and potpourri. Tart cherry acidity adds tang to the midweight palate. It's tightened up by herby, distinctively textured tannins that conjure the sensation of licking gravel. The red fruit wins out, though, lingering on the finish. Drink now–2028.

2025 Sierra Cantabria Rosado
90 Luis Gutierrez - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The very pale 2025 Rosado, which I think is paler than ever, looks almost like a white, and rightly so, because it was produced with a majority of white grapes: 60% Viura, along with 35% Garnacha and 5% Tempranillo; hence, it's a clarete. Still very young and a little reductive, it has a subtle floral nose and a textured palate from the maceration with the white skins. It's tasty and finishes with an almost salty sensation. It has good freshness and balance and is very apt for the table. 80,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2025."

90 Antonio Galloni - Vinous
The 2024 Dolcetto d'Alba is bright, bold and punchy. Blue-toned fruit, lavender, sage and mint show terrific energy and vibrancy because of the cool year and the decision to use 70% stems, very high for this wine. Give the 2024 six months to a year to come together. It's another super-distinctive wine in this range.

2022 Bernard Levet Cote Rotie Amethyste
94 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
Deep ruby/plum-hued, the 2022 Côte Rôtie Amethyste brings terrific richness and concentration, with ripe red and black fruits as well as violets, smoked meats, rose petals, and incense nuances. Fermented with more stems than usual and aged in demi-muids, it's medium to full-bodied, has a layered, elegant mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. This complex, floral, seamless Côte Rôtie will keep for two decades or more. Drink 2025-2045.
93 Yohan Castaing - Robert Parker's the Wine Advocate
Aromas of dark wild berries, spices, blood and dark cherries preface the 2022 Cote Rotie Amethyste, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and structured Côte-Rôtie framed by powdery tannins and a dense, vibrant core of fruit. It concludes with a long, ethereal and licorice-inflected finish and was crafted from different estate plots. Fermentation was with 80% whole clusters, and it matured in used barrels. Perfectly crafted, this Côte-Rôtie is a wine that invariably rewards patience.

93 Erin Brooks - Robert Parker's the Wine Advocate
The 2021 Christo is a blend of 68% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 8% Petite Sirah and 4% Viognier. The nose features fresh blackcurrant and blueberry aromas with tones of cast iron, violet, sagebrush and conifer. The full-bodied palate is chalky and refreshing with restrained, mineral-driven fruit and a long, perfumed finish. Give it 2-3 years in bottle or a couple hours in a decanter.

2003 Clos Du Marquis Ex Chateau Blend from France
#23335 750 mL
2003 Clos Du Marquis Ex Chateau
90 Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The 2003 Clos du Marquis possesses higher alcohol (13.4%) than the 2003 grand vin, no doubt because of the higher percentage of Merlot in the final blend. This impressive sleeper of the vintage boasts a deep ruby/purple color as well as abundant amounts of fleshy, black cherry and currant fruit interwoven with mocha, vanillin, and spice box. Pure, layered, upfront, and already delicious, it should be drunk over the next 12-15 years."
