The Winery SF People’s Blend wine is a unique, interesting, diverse and complex blend of several grape varietals that reflects the unique, interesting, and diverse culture of our San Francisco Bay Area and it’s people. While the wine is primarily a blend of Zinfandel, Syrah and Mourvèdre, the wine contains a bit of Cabernet Sauvignon which helps support the mid-palate, some Petite Sirah to help provide tannin and structure, and a hint of Malbec which lifts the finish, providing a high-tone blue fruit finish. Being a San Francisco’s Urban Winery, we wanted to produce a wine that is approachable for locals both on the palate and in the “pocketbook”. Thus, the People’s Blend is not only our signature wine, it is our most affordable red wine and is our most popular wine.

At first smell, the nose is filled with notes of bright red raspberries, cranberry sauce, wild blackberries, cracked pepper, and smoky tobacco notes. Medium to full bodied, the wine glides on the palate with moderate acidity and tannin rounding out a quite pleasing briary fruit forward finish. The wine pairs with a large variety of food or can be enjoyed on its own and is meant to be enjoyed today and for 4-5 years to come.
