There's a certain beauty when we hear the word old vine Zinfandel, I think this bottling is what most people think of when you say old vine. The nose has this intensity, heat, and spice. The fruits are ripe blackberry, blueberry, sarsaparilla, Bay leaf, mocha, molasses and violet on the nose. The flavor is on the palate repeat the nose but adding a layer of lift in the mid palate with more acidity and citrus throughout the mid palate and a supple silky dry finish.
