This is a very successful Zinfandel, blending earth, spice and fruit into a savory, yet thirst-quenching package. Aromas of cherry, toasted almond, thyme and asphalt lead from the nose into a tense palate of blueberry, oregano, peppercorn and spicy red-flower flavors.
