LVNAE is named after the ancient "Portus Lunae" (the Port of the moon), one of the most important cities and ports of the ancient Roman Empire. It was established in 1966 by Paolo Bosoni, who is now joined by his children Debora and Diego, farming their vineyards in the hills of Luni and Castelnuovo Magra on the plain surrounding the ruins of the ancient city of Luni.
The Vermentino Etichetta Grigia is all about freshness and is considered by many the best expression of true Ligurian Vermentino. Straw yellow with golden highlights. It opens with fresh and bright fruit, citrus, wild flowers and notes of acacia blossom honey. On the palate it is crisp and elegant with a touch of minerality on the finish. Especially suited for all types of seafood dishes but also on its own as an apertif it will transport straight to the Riviera!
