An organic, food-friendly blend of 85% Vermentino and 15% Grechetto, the Val di Toro 2021 Maremma Toscana Vermentino Auramaris opens to a brilliant appearance. The bouquet shows almond blossom and orange skin. Although the Grechetto takes aways from the racy sharpness of the Vermentino, you get plenty of salinity and ashy mineral definition on the close. Some 11,000 bottles were made.
