Verdicchio from Castelli di Jesi is particularly refreshing and satisfying; this example is from a single contiguous vineyard named le Piaole. Since 1980, the Petrini family has farmed Tenuta dell'Ugolino, and today they have 8 hectares of organic grapes, the majority of which are Verdicchio.
