Light, bright yellow. Aromas of lemon, ginger, white pepper and honeysuckle. Taut and dry, with assertive citrus fruit and floral flavors and hints of bitter pear skin and quinine. Sharply focused and pure on the finish, featuring persistent mineral and citrus zest notes. This wine doesn't display the often overt herbal character that I notice in so many examples from Rueda.
