The richness of very old wines, combined with knowledge, has resulted in a Port of remarkable complexity and refinement. It has an amber appearance, with a golden rim and greenish hues. The nose is characterised by evolved aromas of fruit, especially plums and dried figs, and toasted almonds. It finishes very intense, balanced, with hints of marzipan.
