A fragrant, captivating nose of lavender, rosemary and blueberries. The palate is medium- to full-bodied with supple, polished tannins and very delicate, elegant fruit throughout. This cuvee only sees used oak. Drink now.

The 2023 Post Scriptum de Chryseia was born as the second wine of Chryseia in a Bordeaux sense and was produced with grapes from the same vineyards that produce Chryseia. It is 50% Touriga Nacional, 25% Touriga Franca, 5% Tinta Roriz, 5% Tinta Barroca and 15% other varieties. It fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in second- and third-year 400-liter French oak barrels for 12 months. It was a good year for Touriga Nacional, which ripened to perfection and achieved very good balance. The early-picked Touriga Franca was also very good—the grapes picked after the rain suffered a little more. The wine is very nicely crafted, a signature they have developed with Bruno Prats. It comes in at 14% alcohol with a pH of 3.7. This is now the style everybody is after—elegance with Douro character—but they started this style before most.
