"(malo in new American and French oak barrels, followed by two years of aging in new barrels of similar origin) Bright violet color. A deeply perfumed, mineral-accented bouquet displays ripe boysenberry, cherry-cola, licorice pastille and vanilla scents. A suave spicecake nuance builds with air. Coats the palate with sweet red and blue fruit, mocha and candied rose flavors that show impressive clarity and back-end lift. Smooth, slow-building tannins add subtle grip to the impressively long, broad finish, which echoes the vanilla and blue fruit notes."

"Black-plum and cassis aromas include an exotic spice note akin to cardamom. In the mouth, this is smacking and dense. Baked black-fruit flavors include notes of black coffee, cocoa and burnt toast. On the finish, this stays chocolaty in flavor and comfortable in feel. Drink through 2026."

"This generous red shows a traditional character, with flavors of candied cherry, orange peel, tobacco and vanilla. Light, firm tannins and citrusy acidity keep the round texture focused. Expressive. Drink now through 2025. 2,600 cases made, 350 cases imported. — TM"
"The quality of the fruit used and the process outlined above have combined to produce a suprisingly complete wine which has conserved all the characteristics of youth. To the eye, its deep, dark colour with bright ruby rings can be immediately appreciated. On the nose, the delicate balance between youth and ageing stands out. The wine opens up with aromas of red berries such as cherries and raspberries, cloaked in hints of smokiness and spices. As the months pass, the aromas become more complex and we anticipate a slow evolution in the bottle. In the mouth it is full and powerful. Confirming our best expectations, after swallowing the wine its smooth, balanced, full-bodied sensations linger." - Winery
