(a 75/25 blend): Ruby-red. Smoke- and spice accented aromas of cassis, cherry and licorice, with a hint of black pepper in the background. Gently sweet dark berry flavors are brightened by a spicy nuance and pick up tanginess with air. Clings nicely on the finish, which features slightly rigid tannins and a subtle floral pastille quality.
