Deep ruby with a light violet hue. Blackberry nougat, toasted aniseed, with an underlying background of ironstone and wood smoke. Fresh and youthful with juicy blood plum and sappy blackberry fruit. Finely balanced, with savory toasty notes, chewy tannins and amazing depth of flavour. This wine opens up nicely with a bit of time and will benefit from a light aeration in a decanter or even a bit of time swirling in
