The 2022 Doisy-Daëne has an intense bouquet that blossoms in the glass: dried honey, quince and honeysuckle, with light saffron scents emerging with time. The palate is brimming with tension, razor-sharp acidity, quince and tangerine, leading to a slightly peachy, vivacious finish. What a wonderful "DD" from Jean-Jacques Dubourdieu.
96 Peter Moser - Falstaff
Light golden yellow, silver reflections. Fresh tangerine and grapefruit residues, white tropical fruit, mineral bouquet. Juicy, elegant sweetness, some gooseberries, white fruit, fine acidity, elegant finish, shows length and certain aging potential.
96 Markus Del Monego MW - Tasting Book
Intense yellow colour with golden hue. Refined nose with elegant fruit, apricots, ripe peaches, canned pineapple and candied Angelica. Hints of vanilla in the background. On the palate rich sweetness, juicy fruit and mineral freshness, excellent length.

Dried mangoes and persimmons with dried flowers and exotic spices. Full with vivid acidity and an attractive spicy edge. Long with beautiful fruit.

Made from 100% Semillon and with 150 g/L residual sugar, the 2022 Doisy Daene is pale to medium straw in color. The nose is quite closed to start, offering glimpses at notes of baked peaches, lemon meringue pie, and cedar chest, followed by wafts of sea spray, chamomile tea, and powdered ginger. The palate is full-on decadent, featuring rich, sweet layers of flavor and plenty of savory accents, finishing long with just enough freshness.
95 Jonathan Choukroun - Vert de Vin
The nose is elegant, fruity and delicate. It reveals notes of candied peach, crushed apricot and small notes of small fruits in syrup associated with discreet hints of sap, a subtle hint of grape and fine hints of fresh candied ginger. The palate is beautifully built, supple, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, elegant, airy and offers a fresh frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied ginger, candied peach and small notes of lychee in syrup associated with touches of roasted pineapple, fine hints of small fruits in syrup as well as a subtle hint of lemon blossom, verbena, fine hints of fresh honey, flowers and a very discreet almost gingerbread hint (in the background). Good length. A beautiful creamy and gourmand matter.
