Domaine Paul Prieur et Fils is a family-owned winery located in Verdigny, Sancerre in the Loire Valley. The Prieur family has been producing wine for 11 generations, and today is led by Luc Prieur. The estate spans 19 hectares, with 14 hectares dedicated to Sauvignon Blanc, and 5 hectares dedicated to Pinot Noir. For red wines, the grapes are vinified partially or entirely whole cluster, and in open tanks with no added SO2. After a long maceration, the reds are aged in wooden tanks or older barrels for approximately 15 months, unfined and unfiltered.
