Geierslay is an estate that has been in existence since the 1500's...it is located in the village of Wintrich, in the Mosel and the next town over from Piesport.

Vertigo is an ode to the steep slopes - this wine is from young vines in and around Wintrich, on grey slate. It is a feinherb - so just narrowly off-dry, with ripe acids and just enough sugar to add body and depth but not cloying. It is fermented in Stainless steel.

Balance is paramount here - and the wine flutters and has the yin and yang - a push and pull of acid and sweetness, a perfect food wine.
