The 2022 Riesling Brand Grand Cru is from the eastern part of the Brand that was planted in 1947. Gentle smoke surrounds the Mirabelle and citrus fruit on the nose. The palate is exquisitely clear-cut, soaring like a soprano voice, unimpeded and clear. the gorgeous zestiness of pale lemon coats the mouth, texture and even more of that mouth-watering quality. This is hair-raising from an east-facing position with deeper subsoil,. There is no water stress. In the past, this parcel was challenging to ripen; today, it shows luminous purity. (Bone-Dry)
Product Description:
The Riesling GC Brand comes from 40 years old vines planted on granite. The wine is raised in foudres. As with all his wines, fermentations are all natural. There is no fining on any of his wines. Brand is located in the village of Turckheim at around 380 meters in altitude. The exposure is south-southeast.
