Black cherry, blackberry, plum and violet aromas and flavors are wrapped in an embrace of toasty oak. Stiff tannins emerge midpalate, yet there’s also a pulsing energy that drives the long, iron-tinged aftertaste. Needs a year or two to absorb the oak. Best from 2028 through 2042.
