This fantastic introduction to the winery’s lineup comprises fruit from the estate’s “younger” 20 to 30-year-old vines. Herbal notes of sage and juniper tree foliage match blackberry and lemon peel aromas. A silky mouthfeel and plush tannins showcase blueberry, maple and orange pekoe tea flavors. Editors’ Choice.

The single vineyard Pinot Noir from the Petit Estate starts off with aromas of blue plums, gooseberry, pine forest, freshly laid bark, and some oak spice. It takes a bit of time to open up, fully exposing the fruity core that lies underneath. In the glass it displays a light ruby core with a neon pink rim. It has a lovely, balanced finish with rounded tannins and lemony acidity.

Refined and vibrant, with multilayered raspberry, guava and cardamon flavors that flesh out and build complexity toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2030. 1,000 cases made.

Product Description:

"2019 was a return to a slightly normal-cool year. Spring was temperate and typical, with bud break on the early side and a very healthy set in the vineyard. The summer was also mild with no extended heat spikes and optimal ripening conditions. Come September, we had a bit of early rain followed by four weeks of great weather to bring in all of our grapes. By mid-October, we got all the fruit into the barn just before the rains returned. Flavors are classic Oregon, sugars were moderate and acid levels were perfect. The resulting wines (especially the Pinot noirs) are focused, beautiful and loaded with potential.Aromas of sweet black cherry, plums, vanilla bean, tobacco, and cedar. The palate is full with layers of cherry, blueberry jam, peppery spices, silky tannins. A long finish with notes of vanilla and brambly fruit."- Winery
