No deeper in colour, coming from the upper part of Grèves at the southern end. There is a minor reduction, which soon blows off, to reveal a more serious weight of fruit behind, starting gently on the palate then building on through. The fruit is certainly ripe in style, but not too high in alcohol. Tasted: October 2020
Product Description:
Incredibly smooth and slick. Delicate, cashmere-covered fruit. Silky flavours of damson and Victoria Plum. Haunting, beautifully light touch but with requisite substance. This massages the palate and extends across to a clear, persistent and unwaveringly focused finish. Sheer seduction. Well exposed and well drained, an early ripening plot that sits above L'Enfant Jesus.
