"The 2006 Special Club Grand Cru Brut is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from Aÿ. The wine has a deep, fine and mineral bouquet of ripe and concentrated fruits (pineapples and citrus) intermixed with chalky notes. Pure, fresh and intense on the palate, this is a full-bodied, fresh and elegant Champagne with remarkable finesse, mineral grip and power. The finish is long and complex, but the wine is still young.
