Château de Cruzeau is situated on superb gravelly hilltops, perfectly oriented, and benefits from ideal natural conditions for growing vines. Its red wines are always fine and elegant, the perfect expression of the exceptional terroir of Pessac-Léognan. Delicately spicy, with notes of truffle and undergrowth, these modern, charming wines are particularly well-balanced, with freshness, a lovely structure and delicious fruit aromas. Intense purple colour. The nose is discreet at first, but after airing develops rich aromas of very ripe black plums, enhanced by subtle notes of toast and melting caramel. On the palate, the wine is remarkably well-balanced, with velvety tannins underpinning an elegant sweetness that is both rich and enveloping.
