Lively flashes of dark plum, blackcurrants and discreet vanilla with a long, tangy, delightfully spicy finish This medium-bodied wine is brilliant from start to finish and a true gem for the price. A typical blend of Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (28%), with accents of Malbec and Cabernet Franc. The blend is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by eight more months in the bottle. It complements more discerning cuts of veal, roasted duck, or game and still holds its own with red meat roasts. ~ Winery
