Susana Balbo and her team chose Gualtallary for the Nosotros bottling in this warm vintage. There is huge breadth of complexity to the nose with graphite and tarry black and blue fruit. Dark minerals and a hint of cocoa powder and cigar box. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate with lots of broad-shouldered, fine-grained tannins. Intense, concentrated and incredibly persistent. Dark ruby garnet, purple reflections, delicate ochre rim. Delicate precious wood savouriness, a hint of caramel, ripe cherries, blackberry confit, very inviting, delicately decorated with raspberry and liquorice. Juicy, red forest berries, fresh, lively acidity, mineral and full of finesse, pleasant extracted sweetness on the finish, delicate lavender, long-lasting, secure development and certain ageing potential.
