Created in 1967, the Cellier de Dauphins brand is the benchmark for the Rhone Valley region. The diversity of vineyard plots gives the winemakers a wide range of grapes to select from to make their flagship wines that are high quality and represent the Southern Rhone Valley region style.
The Cellier des Dauphins vineyards lie in the Rh么ne Valley, the foothills of the southern Alps rising in the distance. In these terroirs, sun-drenched vines swaying in the southern breeze, grow the renowned grape varieties that have made the C么tes du Rh么ne famous: Syrah, Grenache, Viognier and many others regional grapes.
Such diversity enables our winemakers to produce aromatic blended wines of great complexity. Among the C么tes du Rh么ne AOCs are 20 C么tes du Rh么ne Villages appellations, including the most well known: Plan de Dieu, Puym茅ras and Valr茅as. Exceptional terroirs produce the most illustrious Crus: Ch芒teauneuf-du-pape, Vacqueyras, Vinsobres and Cairanne.
