Green .floral nuances , ripe white tropical fruit , a hint of orange zest , a touch of slate. Juicy, elegant, artful textured, light-footed , but it very powerful and long -lasting, lemony touch on the finish .

"The intensity of elder blossom in full flower, dusty with pollen, forms a lasting impression on the nose and carries seamlessly onto the palate where it is joined and tempered by lemony freshness and a brisk, refreshing core of lemony acidity. This is heady and unusual: It speaks both of its aromatic variety and its steep, stony site." September 2015

"The 2014 Gelber Muskateller Steinriegl is very clear, fresh and aromatic on the coolish nose, and delivers beautifully precise slate and intense stone fruit aromas. Medium to full-bodied, very intense, lovely, concentrated and piquant, with lime and grapefruit flavors, this well-structured Muscat is as elegant as it is powerful; it finishes with a lingering piquancy and salinity. Excellent." Reviewed April 2016
