The 2022 Gamay Noir Lutte is a total pleasure, opening with an earthy blend of crushed black raspberries, sage and white pepper. It's deeply textural with a silken wave of ripe red and blue fruit complicated by saline minerals and inner roses. This tapers off with tension, the chalky tannins leaving a tart raspberry tinge, adding to its youthful tension. This serious Gamay is currently demanding a short stay in the cellar.
