Racked to tank in late September. Mid purple colour, a certain energy, then a straw aspect to the nose, otherwise quite typical gamay. Strawberry fruit, slighter than usual but has retained purity with good acidity. Honourable result. Drink from 2024-2026.

As has been the case in vintages past, this Vieilles Vignes Moulin-Ã -Vent represents the very best value in the lineup from this estate. The wine is highly nuanced and extremely refined. There is an unprecedented level of verve and liveliness here that just leaps from the glass and makes this wine grossly attractive without being overdone. Its mid weight is indicative of the vintage while the 10% whole cluster provides crunch and backbone to balance out the beautiful black/red fruits and floral undertones.
